Chesslet 1.0
About
Chesslet is my Java chess engine. I've been working on it since April 2011.
Chesslet 1.0 uses
- magic bitboards
- negascout
- quiescence search
- iterative deepening
- MVV/LVA ordering
- "instacheckmate" - Chesslet tries to checkmate as soon as possible
- static exchange evaluation pruning in quiescence
- killer heuristic
- null-move pruning
- futility pruning
- transposition tables
- late-move reductions
Updates
- 2012.08.11 Chesslet 1.0 released. (1.0 because it finally implements all the rules of chess.)
